I hope you can see that is a blessing in disguise.
I imagine that you are the type of person that wants to inspire others…
I imagine that you are the type of person that wants people to look up to you…Â This is your chance and today, you took the first step.
Keep in mind, you are no different than every married man in the world, the only difference is that you acted on your impulses. However, what can you teach the millions of men that stuggle with this addiction? What can you teach the millions and millions of boys that look up to you, BECAUSE of this painful and very public lesson?
This is your opportunity to embrace this challenge that every man faces! There is not a person in the world that is SO UNIQUIELY qualified to touch the men of the world on such a difficult subject. You are the one.
I challenge you to take this opportunity and run with it! Make this opportunity be the moment that people will remember you by.

Phil — thank you for giving Tiger those words of encouragement. As the Bible says and I paraphrase “Let him who has not sinned cast the 1st stone.”
You say he is no different than everyone else, then say the only difference …. this means he is different. If not, then there would be no difference. There are many qualified men, or people who are way more qualified to teach others. Just because you fall into the ocean does not mean you are qualified to teach others to swim. He is not even out of the “woods” yet if you will excuse the pun. We do not know if he will break his addiction, change or repeat, so in my opinion he needs to focus on himself and not think of helping others until he can secure his own demons into obscurity. As much as I would like to say your letter is good, it does not look mature and fully thought out, but rather an option to gain attention in the heat of a celebrity. Once he is recovered then perhaps he can become an adultery charity of helping those about to, have done, or will do the same thing, and prevent women going through the same pain as his wife. Besides, if we learned from others mistakes then the world would be a better place, but man always thinks he will not get caught, and it would never happen to him. Oh how we fail and need to grow. I like your encouraging words to Tiger because everyone does deserve a second chance at getting their life straight.What bothers me is your parting comment “God Bless” ! Seeing that Tiger claims to be a Bhuddist, means that He id not a Christian, so to ask God to Bless him in His pagan religion is asking God to bless the very thing He is opposed to. Therefore, this is very hypocritcal in nature ! What would have been a much better parting statement would have been ” May God Guide you ” meaning that He guide Tiger into the real truths of God in Christ ! we live in expresses both sides of the spectrum most the time,It’s easy to talk the talk, but try walking the walk. This I know, No one yet says they know how he feels! no one but Tiger, knows that, and it isn’t any joy ride. The main problem I see Tiger has besides his family, is what does he say to our kids who see him as Mr, Golf? his mind will effect his golf game, but his talent will be the end result.but what di I know at 74 yrs in the world.
I am a woman and older and I think you are entirely correct in your support. It is very and nearly impossible to be a celebrity and survive under the constant scrutiny. There are so many mean spirited people and so jealous, they take great delight in smearing they consider above them in any way. I have wanted to show my support and thank you for helping me do that.
It is very inspiring that people still look up to him with great respect and admiration inspite on what happened. Let the world miss him on the golf course, let the world see how golf will not succeed on audience without him and let the world feel sorry that once a simple boy become famous because of his talent skills.
By the time T.Woods decided to come back and play again not a single of resentment you would hear that he made a mistake once in his life.
